Project description: The career development mentoring programme, delivered with Coach Mentoring (our CMI UK partner) aims to support CIPD … supported the CIPD in recent years with two programme: one for new entrants to the HR profession, either taking or having recently taken their professional qualification; and one for aspiring HR directors. The CIPD currently offers local mentoring programmes at around a quarter of its branches, run on a voluntary basis, and hopes to increase this in the future. Lloyd Jones recently completed some research on the effectiveness of mentoring among members. We supported the CIPD from scoping of their programme through to matching, briefing mentors and mentees, supporting them throughout their mentoring relationship, and with evaluation of the programme.
